I keep coming back to OTB as a news source because, for the most part, the discussion and comments are civil and (at least for me) enlightening. This is where I come to read arguments from both sides of the aisle.

This debate format seems like a really cool idea. Almost like formalizing what you would normally read in the comments section for a given topic.

I'm excited to see how it plays out and hope we see more "blogobates" in the future (I doubt that one will make Webster's).

It should be interesting, I look forward to it. I couldn't find the debate in the comment section, though.

In any case, certainly the first paragraph quoted from Dr. Finel is quite persuasive.
