Quote of the Day – Torture Edition

Sooner or later, someone wins the lottery. For that person, it was certainly worth it to buy that lottery ticket. That’s not a helpful way to decide whether buying lottery tickets is a wise investment.” – Julian Sanchez
The observation is based on an appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor” by Cato’s David Rittgers that’s really aggravating to watch. O’Reilly uses guests as props to make his points rather than as experts with whom to engage in meaningul conversation.
