It's always funny how the pious are always waiting to fall. You read the quotes of Sanford about Clinton and others, and you just wonder why people have such a hard time realizing that people are human. If Republicans want to know why people defend Clinton its because powerful men cheat. And to pretend otherwise is just foolish.

These are Sanford's wild days. His mad existence.

Even if he keeps his promises, we should keep our distance.

At least Spitzer had the decency to resign.

Prostitution is illegal.

Cheating is not.

Should Bill have had the decency to resign?

Actually, smart guy, "cheating" is illegal in South Carolina, with fines or imprisonment or both as punishments.

Clinton lied to a grand jury about his sexual relations with Lewinsky although I guess it depends on what your definition of "is" is.
Thats a bit more substantial than what Sanford did and it was/is illegal.

Still Sanford should resign. For SC's sake. For his family's sake. For the Eva Peron's sake. Resign and move on.

I missed this from the Sanford news conference earlier:

Look, I've said before that as a former adulterer I constantly struggle with it. Have I fallen off the wagon sometimes? Yes. The -- am I a daily adulterer, a constant f---er? No. I don't do it in front of my kids. I don't do it in front of my family. And, you know, I would say that I am 95 percent cured. But there are times where..

This guy makes me ill, I mean really, how hard is it to keep your penis in your pants. The worst part is that this guy has obviously been a douche since day one and the wife didn't care as long as the money rolls in. Everyone in politics needs to be purged, can we get a do-over?
