RIP, Julia Carson (D-IN)

A Congresswoman from Indiana has died. I’ll readily admit I was not familiar with her (like another 300 members of Congress). I came across her death searching for Fort Carson on Google. She seems respectable person .
Then I came across the hagiography from the Brady Bunch
I consider the Brady Campaign to be loathsome vultures on the death of a civil rights campaigner. I had the misfortune of meeting these folks at the Brickskekller one evening and realized they were religious fanatics against guns.
About the Author: A “retired” Navy Submarine Officer with military policy, arms control, and budgeting experience, he served for 6 years on the Joint staffs of US Strategic Command (Strategy & Policy) and the Iceland Defense Force. On the Navy Staff at the Pentagon, he was the Action Officer & Program Sponsor for the SSGN Project and Navy Ballistic Missile Programs. He has a BS in Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He made a few guest posts OTB starting in January 2004 covering special events and has made frequent contributions since.

Of course the Brady Campaign would have been at the Brickskekller to sample the buffalo stew.

The lady died. They admired her. They write a nice little tribute.

Shockingly, I once again agree with Tano. What are they supposed to do when she dies, dis her? Ignore her?
I mean, I'm sure my contempt of the Brady Campaign To Take Your Guns Away From You is as deep as anyone's, but I don't understand your point. It's not like they said, "Rep Carson died, so send us money."
Work a little bit harder on your writing bud, you post makes very little sense. And while we are on the topic, speaking ill of the dead is generally considered to be very poor form.
Anjin, re-read Richard's post. He didn't speak ill of the dead, in fact he said she appeared to be a respectable person.
He spoke ill of the Brady Campaign, who usually deserves contempt, but not on this occasion, IMHO.

The irony here is that it is Mr. Gardner who uses Ms. Carson's death to push his message of hate against a group she supported. Who is the vulture?
