In Roger Ebert’s most hated films of all time, he includes the following:
Tommy Boy is one of those movies that plays like an explosion down at the screenplay factory. You can almost picture a bewildered office boy, his face smudged with soot, wandering through the ruins and rescuing pages at random. Too bad they didn’t mail them to the insurance company instead of filming them.
There can be no forgiveness for such blasphemy.

His brain's got a thick candy shell. He was obviously watching too much Spanktrovision and didn't notice that it was made for the American working man. But Jimmy likey, Jimmy like Tommy.
Tommy? Never saw it. . . but the HORROR - he put Stargate on his worst list . . .the man must be stopped before he sins again . . . . has he no compassion, no vision, no, well, okay everyone has their own opinion.

Arrggghhh....The only movie I saw on his whole list was Stargate. There may be reasons why I never saw the rest of them (disinterested, bad, whatever), but not my Stargate!!!!

I was shocked to see Constantine there. Obviously not a fan of the comic.
Ebert thinks "The Green Berets" is one big stereotype? Sheesh, I guess he hasn't seen "Over There" yet.
I think his assessment of "The Village" is spot on. I wanted to like it but the ending just made me think I just wasted the time watching the movie.
I'll never forget Gene Siskel and Ebert's review of "Porky's". I guess they still don't understand that dumb movies can entertain. Just look at the bucks "The Dukes of Hazzard" is currently bringing in.
