Sandy Berger and His Trousers

This is another item via Kevin Drum. He notes that Sandy Berger has plead guilty to both taking classified documents as well as destroying some of the documents. What I find mildly amusing is that Kevin finds this inexplicable. Now, when it comes to some goofy guy down in Texas who cranked out some fake Texas Air National Guard documents, well his story is believable. Oh well consistency is a pesky thing anyways.

About the Author: Steve has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and attended graduate school at The George Washington University, leaving school shortly before staring work on his dissertation when his first child was born. He works in the energy industry and prior to that worked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Division of Price Index and Number Research.
