N.Z. Bear has made an important change to his The Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem:
On the details page of any weblog, you can now click a link which takes you to an ‘edit details’ page, from which you can change any information on the blog, or request that it be deleted entirely (good for hunting down those dreaded duplicates!)The changes will not take effect immediately — I will still review them manually and only execute those that seem to make sense (to prevent abuse, and to avoid having to implement some gawdawful authentication system).
This is something I’ve been waiting for a while, since the only way to fix things now (for example, if a site gets moved to a new URL) is to add a brand new listing to the system.
Of course, there are 3,177 blogs currently listed and the list is growing by dozens a day. This is soon going to get beyond the ability of one person–let alone one person with an actual job–to manage.
