SHAYS’ REBELLION, PART II: I’m not sure how much attention this is getting in the national news, but it’s one strange story: N.C. Truck Driver Continues Standoff on Mall. Fortunately, I don’t have any need to go into the District the next few days, but Constitution Avenue is the main artery in the south. I can’t believe they’ve allowed this yahoo to shut down the city. Indeed, a few federal agencies have told their employees not to even come in today.
