Kate has suggested that I start a pool for guessing when OTB will hit the quarter million mark in Site Meter unique visits. She’s down for “Saturday – between 8 and 9 am.”
Post your entries in the comments section of this post. They must be entered before the counter hits the 249,900 mark. In the event of a tie, the first entrant wins.
The winner will get some sort of official recognition commensurate with the effort required to perform the calculation.
About the Author: James Joyner is the publisher of Outside the Beltway and the managing editor of the Atlantic Council. He's a former Army officer, Desert Storm vet, and college professor with a PhD in political science from The University of Alabama. He lives just outside the Beltway in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and infant daughter.

249,946 at 4:28 a.m. Dang, missed out on that one. The sun will be coming up soon, so it will be time to retire to the coffin and wait until dark to venture forth once more.
