It’s weird — because I heard all this talk about the Sooners being so good that the boys from South Central couldn’t take them. I suppose we should have all listened to that line from Bad Religion, “Southern California will destroy them …”
The real story isn’t USC’s perfect season in 2004, but rather the fact that in three years the Trojans have only lost THREE games.

Yeah, it's too bad that *both* of their "national championships" are bogus.
Not bogus, really, but not as legit as all other championships.
I mean, as far as Division 1A goes, this National Championship is as valid as they come.i That doesn't make it a good way to decide the champion. The BCS - there are bowls, but there is really no champion, and it isn't a series either. One of the biggest misnomers in sports.
