Still More of the Duke Lacrosse Case

Just when you thought that the Duke Lacrosse (Faux) Rape Case was finally over, think again. The interim DA for Durham has asked the North Carolina AG to investigate whether charges should be brought against any law enforcement officer in the handling of the case. This would include disgraced fromer Durham DA Michael Nifong. Another person who might find himself facing criminal charges is Sgt. Mark Gottlieb, the officer who seemed almost as eager as Nifong to push this case forward.
About the Author: Steve has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and attended graduate school at The George Washington University, leaving school shortly before staring work on his dissertation when his first child was born. He works in the energy industry and prior to that worked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Division of Price Index and Number Research.
