SULLY ON BLAIR AND OTHER STUFF

Andrew Sullivan has a lot of good commentary today. His analyses of Tony Blair and Maureen Dowd are quite solid. He also links this excellent NYT piece by John Burns, whom Sullivan compares to Kipling. Which is doubly encouraging for conservatives and a double invective for liberals, I guess.

I agree very much with Sullivan on Blair, as my comments of last Thursday illustrate. His speech, which I briefly quoted from yesterday, was quite stirring, as most of his public pronouncements starting 9/11 have been. I must say, I wish President Bush had Blair’s eloquence.
