That is an incredibly sad and unfortunate cartoon. Rall probably has gone off the deep end but even so, is he somehow alluding that Bush should commit suicide? The idea is absolutely preposterous.
I am the first to admit that some leftist cartoons are actually funny, although I do not agree with their position. This garbage of a cartoonist, on the other hand, belongs with Churchill in the insane asylum.

I for one find him very funny at times even though my political views do not match his. Although I do have to admit that his comics often do not include a punch line, but just sort of trail off.

I have often seen Ted as not really having his own views and opinions, but he is almost a caricature of the extreme left. I imagine him sitting at his desk asking himself "what would michael Moore say in this situation?"

Political cartoons needn't necessarily be funny, merely thought provoking. While the content was disturbing, he didn't fabricate anything, which makes it doubly so. I await history's verdict re: Bush 43, but I do not believe he will be judged kindly. Although I am about as liberal as anyone you have ever met, I do not relish this thought; quite the contrary I mourn for my country and for future generations of Americans to whom the unpleasant task of rebuilding a tattered reputation on the world stage will fall.

DoBM: Perhaps you're right. Current trends would seem to indicate otherwise, however. If he manages to leave a legacy of democratic governance in the Middle East and helps solve the Arab-Palestinian standoff, both more likely now than in quite some time, then it'll be hard to judge his presidency anything but a huge success.

I don't even spend the effort to find Rall's cartoons any more, and I have a link to them, amoung others. DBub has it pretty close, about Michael Moore, except I see Rall asking Moore why he's still so conservative.

I suspect that, given circumstances that made Rall a young Muslim, he would exploit his hate of our nation by being at a minimum a suicide bomber.
