That’s Right
Greg Mankiw notes that with the new President taking office as well as having control of both chambers of Congress with wide margins that it is time to switch. What kind of switch is he referring too? Jane’s Law:
The devotees of the party in power are smug and arrogant. The devotees of the party out of power are insane.
- Census Worker Hanging Suicide, Not Right Wing Murder
- Swine flu is more popular than Dodd
- Paradox of Choice Paradoxically Untrue
- Private Forecasters Support Claim That Stimulus Worked
- Entertaining Kids During the Holidays
- How Much Will Escalation Cost?
- No Party of No
- Thought of the Day
- Queer International Studies
- OTB Latenight – r.e.m.
Call me crazy............but I still have these issues with Obama.......

pretty much sums it up...
someone at volokh said something to that effect right after the election and glen greenwald went on one of his great rages about how that was just not true of his partisans! i wonder if you and/or mankiw will be subjected to the same treatment...only one way to find out: to the sock puppets!
Although, oddly, it strikes me that the switch took place three or four years ago. At least on the more partisan blogs, the Dems were smug and arrogant and the Republicans were insane.

I consider it warm...kind of like stretching before you exercise.
