A bold statement since it now ties the legitimacy of the Islamic republic to the vote.  This would make it harder for a government shuffle while the mullahs stay above it all.  If, as it appears, many Iranians feel the vote was fraudulent, they many now tie that fraud to the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic not just the government.  It is definitely an end game with the government and Islamic republic all in.</description>

		<description>Well, that was no surprise.  I guess we have it on record now whose side Khamenei is on.  Machs nicht.  I think the protestors should be under no illusion those who currently hold power won&#039;t surrender it willingly without a fight.</description>
