The Likelihood Principle and Statistics
After writing the post on some of the problems with the statistical analyses of the recent presidential eleciton there were a few request (from people I can only surmise are masochists) as to how one would use the likelihood principle in statistical inference. Well, for you weirdos I have a post over at my blog that explains one method for doing statistical inference that is consistent with the likelihood principle (yeah, I’m a weirdo too). Enjoy, and if you fall asleep reading it and bang your head on your key board, don’t complain to me…remember you asked for that post.
