Tim Johnson to Make First Appearance in Months

South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson’s office has announced his first public appearance since December, when he nearly died from a brain hemorrhage. The “Thank You, South Dakota” event is a week from today, Aug. 28, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, and is open to everyone in the state, according to the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.
