Schoomaker’s Ride

DefenseLink: Some days it pays to be Chief.

Photo: U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker talks with soldiers of the 1st Calvary Division from Fort Hood, Texas, as they prepare for an event at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in San Antonio on Feb. 16, 2005.

This is actually a pretty smart recruiting effort. Schoomaker appears to be having a good time, and you know this was a thrill for the Cav troops involved. More photos here.
