So Ronstadt says fundamental Christians can cloud her enjoyment. First of all,its fundamentalist.Second,if you replace the word Christian with Jew,black.asian,latino,Muslim,Hindu,you get the point.The left would be screaming racism.But as long as its Christians its OK????Love,light,and laughter.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say "You shall not be offended"....NOWHERE. If we truly live in a society that supports free speech, then whatever you say will be offensive to someone, somewhere. Therefore you can't say anything, ever....it will offend someone. That's the foundation of "Political correctness", and it has robbed us of the free expression of our ideas. If I had been at the concert, I'd have asked for my money back. Not because she had expressed her political views, but because I would have paid to be entertained by her music, not her political ideas. The price of living in a nation where free speech is supported is that every now and then you will hear something that offends you - get over it - It's the price we all pay for being able to talk freely. -Sandi

Linda Ronstadt is worn out and can no longer entertain like she used to. the only way she can get some news is to do something stupid!!!
Ignore her concerts and boycott her stuff, that'll send a message to folks to avond putting on her shows

BRAVO Bill Timmins!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course Ms. Ronstadt would rather not know if Republicans or fundamental Christians are at her concert. That would require losing the sale of a ticket and money in her pocket!

We go to concerts to hear music, not propaganda.

Yes, I don't go to a concert to be preached at or brainwashed with someone's politics. I find Ms. Ronstadt's comments about Republicans and fundamentalist Christians simply intolerable. It is no different than if she had said she had a problem with Jewish people or African Americans. We would not accept it, and yes, there would be a demand for some type of punnishment against her for her remarks and actions. Perhaps even the cancellation of the rest of her tour.

The difference is that she can like Mr. Moore if that is her choice, but she has no right to trash someone else through her propaganda. In my opinion, freedom of speech goes wrong when it hurts or offends others.
