And before you come back with a smart-ass answer, I would point out that John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison wrote under the collective pseudonym "Publius" in countering objections to the proposed Constitution in 1787-88. In fact, many individuals wrote to the papers of the day for and against the proposed Constitution under either psuedonyms or were anonymous. Or should they have identified themselves in order to be heard or responded to?
