Wadhams to Make Macaca Out of Colorado GOP?
John Gizzi reports that Dick Wadhams, who oversaw the transformation of George Allen from a 2008 presidential contender to a one-term Senator, is set to become chairman of the Colorado Republican Party.
Granting that Wadhams had plenty of help from his candidate in losing and that he had success in previous stops, he certainly botched his last job, doing his level best to antagonize a press corps already predisposed against Allen. You’d think the Colorado GOP, who have become the minority party in a once-safe state, would want someone with better PR skills.
