Watchers Wanted

A position has opened up on the Watcher’s Council. If you have a blog, considering applying for it—the current rules are here.

Not long ago a scholar at Carnegie-Mellon produced a network analysis of the blogosphere that suggested that you could get a pretty good idea of what was going on by reading just 100 blogs. Present or emeritus Watcher’s Council members were heavily represented in that 100.

The Watcher’s Council is a great way to find new readers, make a difference, and to punch above your weight class.

About the Author: Over the years Dave Schuler has worked as a martial arts instructor, a handyman, a musician, a cook, and a translator. He's owned his own company for the last thirty years and has a post-graduate degree in his field. He comes from a family of politicians, teachers, and vaudeville entertainers. All-in-all a pretty good preparation for blogging.

He has contributed to OTB since November 2006 but mostly writes at his own blog, The Glittering Eye.

The Watcher’s Council

Is this some weird Internet Masons group? And doesn't Admiral Poindexter's Office of Total Information Awareness already do this?

More like the Illuminati than the Masons, Triumph.
