CONTINUOUS COVERAGE: Three school administrators shot at Campbell County High School (WBIR)

Shots were fired inside the principal’s office at Campbell County High School in Jacksboro and authorities are on the scene. 10 News reporter Robin Murdoch has confirmed that three school administrators were injured in the shooting. A juvenile is in custody.

Injured were Principal Gary Seale, Asst. Principal Jim Pierce and Asst. Principal Ken Bruce. According to Campbell County Sheriff Ron McClellan, all three men suffered life threatening wounds. “These men are all fine Christian men and I am at a loss for words,” McClellan told 10 News.

The suspect is reported to be at a St. Mary’s Medical Center in LaFollette being treated for a hand injury.

The school was placed on lockdown after the shooting but students were released shortly after 3:00 p.m.

Nothing yet from Glenn Reynolds, who works and presumably lives in the area, but that should change.

Update: The alleged shooter was a student at the school.

Another reason to support school vouchers. Only in a public school controlled by the NEA terrorists could such a thing happen.

Right, Ronald, if only the *NRA* were running the school, the kid would've been blown away before he could get off the first round.

Sheesh. Anyone want to blame the gays next?

Remember Columbine? Those two kids were gay, so it wouldn't surprise me if it were the case here. The government + unions + pushers of the homosexual agenda = tragedy.

What happened to all the right wingers? Usually they tell us that the best solution to gun violence is more guns. Now they want to do away with gays? Are jews and gypsies next? What about gays like Cheney, Drudge, and Drier? Are they good gays?

I was disappointed to see the MSM running Columbine footage during the reporting of this Campbell County tragedy. The only reason to run that during the newscast would be if the story were to be about school shootings in general. It smacked of sensationalism as well as beating the anti-gun drum.
