		<description>The important thing about the Fallujah operation is that it removes a base close to Baghdad.  If you want secure elections in Baghdad, you have to eliminate the bases where destabilizing attacks are launched from.  And improving security in Baghdad is important because of the large fraction of Iraqis who live there.</description>

		<description>The coalition forces will take a wealth of information from Fallujah, that should significantly aid efforts to eradicate the insurgents and facilitate a successful election early next year.  

I seem to remember a lot of people talking about how we were always too late to get Saddam.  Not much to say about that now.</description>
