Barbara Walters: Evening News Dying

The headline from a Portfolio interview with Barbara Walters:

I think the only programs that will still be there as they are now in 10 years are the morning shows. Everything else you can TiVo and watch later or read about on the internet.

I think she’s right.

The best line from said interview:  “I have learned to pronounce my ‘r’s’ much better since Gilda Radner.”

A Pussy Willow? And that is for the men who watch it.

A Scrub oak? And that is for the women who watch it.
