Boehner vs. Blunt: The E-Mail Wars II

A little over an hour ago, I got the following from Team Boehner:

Currently on 1/13/06 – add Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC) (another RSC member), Small Business Committee Chairman Don Manzullo (IL), and Rep. Todd Platts (PA) for a total of 39 public supporters. Boehner counts 90 public & private supporters.

My reply [2:28 pm EST]:

Isn’t it a bit disengenous to compare one guy’s public supporters with another’s public and private supporters? Especially when the other guy counts more public and private supporters?
