Chris Christie And Cory Booker Star In The Best Political Comedy Video Ever

The fact that Christie and Booker could possibly end up facing off together in an election in 2013 makes it amusing. The probability that national conservatives will call Christie a RINO for daring to make a joint appearance with a Democrat makes it depressing.
You never see this nowadays. It’s sad. And if Christie is all of a sudden a “RINO”, then that says more about “conservatives” than the Governor, though I think we already acknowledge that.

At least in NJ, my impression was that a not-insignificant number of Tea Partiers already consider Christie a RINO. And, to boot, he doesn’t share a proper paranoia about Muslims.
Hell, there are wingnut conservatives out there who would call Scalia a “RINO” for being close friends with Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Barry Goldwater would be a “RINO” in their view. Reagan. Deukmejian. Unfortunately there’s no real cure for terminally stupid.
Regarding Christie, it’s pretty easy to see why he was such a successful criminal prosecutor. He’s got that combination of self-effacing wit along with a brass knuckled persona. Booker also appears to be a guy who easily can connect with real people on Main Street. I hope they do face off against each other. That would be a good, competitive contest.
That was surprisingly well done, and those two are almost natural actors (surprising for politicians? maybe not …).
That was amusing.
They should both host SNL — at the same time.
Why do you assume that Christie may be called a RINO for this? There are always people who will say stupid things, but how is your comment any different? You are pandering your biases in the same manner as those who would call Christie a RINO for this video.
Here is a suggestion: Just enjoy the video and don’t rain on your own parade.
