    Maybe … MAYBE … Coburn’s endorsement matters, perhaps with the base evangelical types, I don’t think so, those folks have nowhere else to go, but who knows?

    I happen to think that Rubio will be on the ticket – either as the presidential or vice presidential nominee. Electorally, Florida matters, plus the GOP thinks that Rubio would get them more Hispanic voters.

    Coburn, for all his faults, always got along well with Obama personally when the latter was a Senator. So I suspect the lack of respect given Obama by some candidates is grating on him.
