Death Star Petition Gets 25,000 Signatures
The petition to construct a Death Star that I mentioned earlier this month now has more than 25,000 signatures:

Yes, as Buzzfeed was quick to notice, the official petition to secure resources and funding for a Death Star has passed the 25,000-signature threshold, which means that according to stated White House Petition policy it will require an official response.
I love America so much. It just shows that, when push comes to shove, we can come together, as we have always done, to demand fictional solutions to real-world problems.
I find this reporters lack of faith disturbing.
Can we add some AA guns around the thermal exhaust ports?
I suspect a build “A Pineapple Under The Sea” petition could get 25,000 signatures in this political climate.

Without the death star there is a 50/50 chance Venezuela will be able to take us in a few years…
If the government backs it, it won’t be “Death Star”, but more of a “Life-Reducing Spheroid with Xtreme Capability”, and it will include an Amtrak platform.
