Firefox 4 Beta Incompatible with Gmail

Firefox 4 Beta doesn't work well with Gmail, or at least Gmail as I have it configured with various Google Labs add-ons like "Send & Archive."

Public Service Announcement:  I installed Firefox 4 Beta yesterday on my two main computers, hoping to take advantage of the new sync and tab management features.   Alas, there’s a HUGE bug:  It doesn’t work well with Gmail, or at least Gmail as I have it configured with various Google Labs add-ons like “Send & Archive.”

Several times, I’ve drafted a reply to a message and it hangs up when I hit either “Send & Archive” or even “Send.”  Oddly, the messages are going through but the window hangs.   Very annoying.

God hates you for running Windoze.

Try Opera for Windows, it syncs, they invented tabs, etc. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Just as a reference point Opera is my primary browser.  I prefer it over IE or Firefox.

Welcome to the exciting world of beta-testing.  I hope you filed a bug report on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/!

Also, for everything but Javascript & CSS debugging, I’m loving Chromium.
