I find this kind of article quite useful. Basically, it’s a list of items wherein Thompson has strayed from orthodox Republican base issues. Or, as I see it, a list of reasons to vote for Thompson.

It would be very helpful to have a similar list for each of the other candidates.

  3. Any time a candidate comes into a race with airs of Christ cleansing the temple, he’s setting a rather high bar for himself.

Can Thompson clear it? Possibly. American loves its actors, and is suspicious of sincerety.

    An observation:

Republicans claim to hate Hollywood, and Hollywood clearly loves Democrats, yet elected actors/entertainers are almost invariably Republicans.

    Weird, that.

I’m surprised that no one has really talked about Fred helping ram McCain/Feingold through the Senate.
