FRIENDSHIP

Scott Ganz believes

that every male-male friendship in existence can be classified as one of the following: Tweedle-Dee & Tweedle-Dum, and Ren & Stimpy.

Hmm. Honestly, while I’ve always heard TD-TD references, I’m totally unfamiliar with the characters and I can’t say that I’ve ever watched a complete episode of R&S, which looked totally stupid. Oh, well.

I always thought that, besides the characterizations Ganz offers, Ren and Stimpy were gay. (In fact, there was a public “Ren and Stimpy” debate to that effect.) Is that a way of saying we’re either gay and odd or straight and dumb?
