Via TPMDC:  It Has Come To This: O’Donnell Family Straightens Out Father’s Bozo The Clown Career.

Bottom line:  apparently at some point in the past, Christine O’Donnell’s father was a part-time fill-in for Philadelphia’s official Bozo the Clown.  He was not, it turns about, an official, certified Bozo (and yes, there is such a thing).

First, when has Bozo the Clown ever been evoked in a political campaign and the reference was really Bozo, and not just someone calling one of the candidates a Bozo.

    Willard Scott was my Bozo, on WRC in DC. He went on to become a noted weatherman and now, I think, still offers centenarian birthday greetings for The Today Show.
