GOP Returns “Gift” Left By Democrats In 1992

Amusing:

In 1992, a life sized donkey was placed at the front door of the Republican National Committee offices. It was a fitting prank in a year when Democrats took the White House and retained majorities in the House and Senate.

Last night, Republicans got payback.

As the picture shows, that same donkey was returned to the DNC last night, decked out in “Fire Pelosi” gear from the 2010 campaign.

    Sometimes they copy, but when they do, it’s with a better sense of reality and vastly greater panache!

    They kept it almost 20 years? I know revenge is a dish best served cold, but even a Happy Meal decomposes after that long.

    I know it’s just a prank, but this feeds too much into the “my team vs. your team”, “no compromises with the enemy” mindset for my tastes. (This applies in both directions.)
