Harry Reid v. Sharron Angle Race Dead Even

The latest Rasmussen poll has the Senate race in Nevada tied:

The Nevada Senate race remains a cliffhanger.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Nevada, with leaners included, finds Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his Republican challenger Sharron Angle tied at 48% apiece. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are undecided.

Something tells me we’ll be staying up late for the results of this one on November 2nd.

Something tells me that if Ras has the race tied, then Reid is up by a few.

Lets see. The other two current polls for this race (per RealClear) – Ipsos, Reid +2; Mason-Dixon – Reid +2.

In other words, within the MoE. Statistically tied in all three polls. Seems consistent to me.

Angle’s going to need more than a statistical dead heat to knock off an incumbent.  Advantage:  Reid.

Hey everyone, the elections are 7 weeks away and anything can happen.
I won’t seriously consider polling results til a week away.
Debates haven’t really started yet in many elections.
This one does look close however.
