The winner, Dave Weigel:  We Don’t Need No Education, We Don’t Need No Thought Control.

The context:  Santorum’s claims that Obama wants people to go to college so that they can be remade in his image.

(I wish I had thought of that one.)

BTW:  the quotes he provides in the piece are quite depressing.

    The fact that he’s younger than me just makes me want to invite him to my lawn and then ask him to get off of it 🙂

    Here’s my favorite quote from Weigel’s story:

    “We see a lot of jobs going unfilled because people are(sic) being trained for them,” chimed in Larry’s wife, Margo. “Plumbing, construction, jobs like that.”

    That she thinks that construction jobs are going unfilled at all is astonishing, let alone because of a lack of trained craftsmen. The construction unemployment rate is 17.7%
