How Will Janeane Garofalo Die…

on the next season of ’24’ that is?

The political left and the political right are going to meet on Fox’s “24” this coming season.

Actress-comedian Janeane Garofalo, an outspoken liberal, is set to co-star on the conservative-leaning real-time drama, whose co-creator/executive producer Joel Surnow jokingly describes himself as a “right-wing nut job.”

On the Imagine TV/20th Century Fox TV series, Garofalo will play a government agent who is part of the team investigating the crisis befalling Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and company in the upcoming season.

In watching the show ’24’ about the only person who seems immune to being killed is Jack and Chloe, and I’m not even sure about Chloe.

Geez, this one is easy. She will end up shooting herself in the foot again. And like usual, her foot will be in her mouth again.

  2. Michael says:

What would really make 24 more interesting (not to mention more realistic) is if Jack was, even just once, wrong.

I mean, we’ve all seen how torture can help him save the day, but maybe this season he will torture to death someone who didn’t actually have the information he wanted. But I guess then he wouldn’t be the infallible hero we all want to believe our government/military/police are.

Yeah, I used to think that about Tony too, because for a while he was the only other person still around from the 1st season, but I was proven wrong there. Now I really think only Jack is immune.

  4. Richard Gardner says:

I’m thinking due to an infection from crawling on her hands and knees through broken glass (March 6, 2003 statement). Oops, this is TV, not reality (not even reality TV).

Hasn’t Jack died, at least once, technically in the middle of Season 2; when he was being tortured by the Caspian oil baron Kingsley; but it’s true everyone can die on ’24 at any moment.
