I Have no Idea why we Think Trump is a Misogynist… (2)

In regards to allegations of sexual assualt:

“Believe me, she would not be my first choice, that I can tell you.  You don’t know. That would not be my first choice.”

“When you looked at that horrible woman last night, you said, ‘I don’t think so.’ ”

Donald J. Trump.

Pfft. Come on, Steven. We all know Billy Bush egged him into saying those things.

  2. CSK says:

Because a pussy in the hand is worth two in the Bush.

  3. If I may…
    *clears throat dramatically *
*mi mi mi mi mi mi mi *

    But Bill Clinton.

  4. michael reynolds says:

Trump is doing to the GOP and women what Pete Wilson did to Latinos. I wonder if anyone in the GOP has figured out that women are not a minority?

  5. grumpy realist says:

Yeah. The “she’s too ugly to molest” defense doesn’t play well with most people. Wonder why?

  6. al-Alameda says:

Evidently the final stage of acceptance is to suggest that the election is rigged, and all is lost.

He’s almost to that point where he puts his hands over his ears and starts shouting “la la la la la la la la la … I can’t hear you … I’m not listening!”

  7. gVOR08 says:

Seriously, Trump is saying look at her? Now? She’s around my age. I looked a lot better 35 years ago, I expect she did too.

  8. CSK says:

    @gVOR08:

I think the Trumpkins are too dumb to make that connection. And apparently none of them recall that Trump said that his marriage to Melania “of course wouldn’t last.” After all, at age 46, she’s getting a bit long in the tooth for a 70-year-old teenager.

  9. bill says:

so saying an ugly woman is ugly makes you a misogynist now? well i guess if your not an effete hillary supporter it does!
so nothing on the “tolerant liberals” who invoke violence and firebomb those whom they disagree with? very “brown shirt” of them- but when you support the most criminal political party in the US….just roll with it.

  10. @bill: So, do you really not understand or are you playing dumb for the sake of trolling?

  11. SKI says:

@Steven L. Taylor: The answer is “yes”, sadly. He is trying to troll but also doesn’t understand the issue isn’t that calling a woman ugly is inherently misogynistic (could be an equal opportunity jerk) but that asserting that as a defense implies that if he had been attracted, he would have had the right to grope, grab and assault her.

Of course, given that sexual assault isn’t about sexual attraction but about asserting man’s control over women, the “defense” isn’t just misogynistic but nonsensical

  12. Concerned UK Citizen says:

Where is this “proof” DJT was talking about that would show the allegations of sexual misconduct against against him are false?

Everyone seems to have forgotten about it – or have i missed something?

(same question applies to the information private investigators (which he allegedly sent to Hawaii) uncovered about Obama’s not being born in America … “absolutely unbelievable” what detectives are finding in Hawaii …)

  13. @Concerned UK Citizen: I am not asserting this quote is proof of the allegations. I am noting that when one is accused of sexual assault and one basically suggests the accuser is too unattractive to assault, then one comes off, at a minimum, as a misogynist.
