John McCain: Mitt Romney Should Pick Sarah Palin As His Running Mate
John McCain has a suggestion for Mitt Romney as his campaign begins focusing on picking a running mate:
Sen. John McCain says Rick Santorum should recognize “it’s time for a graceful exit” from the Republican presidential campaign in the wake of Mitt Romney’s sweep of primaries in Wisconsin, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
McCain also tells “CBS This Morning” there’s a strong field of Republicans who could be the vice presidential candidate.
When asked to suggest some names Wednesday, the Arizona Republican said, “I think it should be Sarah Palin.”
Yea, because that worked out so well the last time.
Thank you, I needed a morning pick-me-up. That was good.
April Fools joke? The Onion? An indication of his seething contempt for Mittens?
I reckon that about three quarters of the country would consider that a good idea. I know that I’m all for it.
Unless someone else vindicates his choice by also choosing her McCain goes down in history as having chosen the biggest joke for VP ever…and that includes Quayle.
I’m definitely going to be spreading this joke around the office today.
A mind is a terrible thing to have wasted away to nothing.
OK, granpa, time for your pill, now.
Hey, you kids….get off my lawn!!!
McCain ought to recognize that it’s time for a graceful exit.
I assume he’s being facetious. If not, then senility has definitely set in.
You didn’t watch the video, did you? The extensive laughter might have clued you in that he was joking.
@Aidan:
He did endorse President Obama back in January….
Please please please, Mitt … please put Palin on the ticket.
It would definitely balance the Ticket – Romney is phony and inauthentic, and Sarah is honestly uninformed and unthoughtful.
I guess next McCain will be giving medical advice by telling people to swallow arsenic…
Somebody take away his car keys, quick.
