Kasich Contemplating a Run?

So it would seem.

Via CNN:  Ohio’s John Kasich moves closer to 2016 bid

Mr. Kasich’s supporters filed paperwork Tuesday with the Ohio Secretary of State for a non-profit called “New Day for America.” The next steps will be a formal announcement of his 527 tax-exempt organization, along with filing the necessary paperwork with the Internal Revenue Service, according to a person familiar with the process.

Kasich is mainly interesting because he is from Ohio, a key swing state.  Further, he theoretically represents a more mainstream (i.e., less Tea Party) manifestation of the GOP than some of the other candidates.

Yeah he worries me. We can survive losing Ohio but it wouldn’t exactly be helpful.

The clown car would be more amusing if someone was being entirely reasonable in the middle of it, and being completely destroyed by not putting on the makeup. I don’t know much about Kasich, but I hope he can fill that role.

From inside OH he looks like Scott Walker, but not stupid.

    I already miss Alan Keyes.
