Via the Political Wire: Palin Nemesis Poses Nude
The New York Post reports that alongside a Sarah Palin profile in the September issue of Playboy will be a "four-page nude pictorial of Mercede Johnston, the sister of Bristol Palin’s estranged baby daddy, Levi."
And while, clearly, what the Johnstons do is not the Palins’ responsibility, there is also no doubt that what they do is part of the broader political reality show that is the Palin circus. Certainly sans McCain’s choice of Palin we would not be exposed (pun intended) to the Johnstons.

Good grief, What did she do to deserve this post? I can’t imagine you guys are so desperate for hits that you needed a post like this to get Palin on the board today! I understand Doug’s obsession with Gov Palin because he does appear to be a raidcal in sheep’s clothing. But you seemed to be more measured, so I’m surprised you are now in the muck with the almost psychotic Palin Bashing. Good lord, what has happened to James’ once reputable blog???
The fact that both them, Mercedes and the slug, are managed by Rex and Tank, the Sharpton and Maddox of Alaska, who tried to impugn Palin, as a racist from the get go, including one particularly insane ethics complaint, doesn’t occur to them , JAzz

How is the sister of Levi Johnson Sarah Palin’s “nemesis”? At the end of the day, your post says one true thing, Steve: “what the Johnstons do is not the Palins’ responsibility.” You should have left it at that, because that’s really all there is to this story: This is a story in which the actors are Playboy magazine and Mercede Johnson; as you acknowledge, what the Johnstons do is not the Palins’ responsibility, and what Playboy magazine does is not the Palins’ responsibility. To say anything more is to implicitly bash Palin with the very conduct you just admitted isn’t up to her.
Shouldn’t you guys be directing your ire at the New York Post, who originally reported this? Since you’re not upset with what Steven wrote, but rather that he posted on the topic at all, shouldn’t you head straight for the source? I hear Murdoch is a bit busy these days, but surely someone there will listen to you spew.
I was going to write about what a frisky lot Palin defenders are, but I see that Dan Rather’s comments have completely disappeared…I guess he/she is about to go the same way as Southern Hoosier and jwest…

Of course he wouldn’t…if something similar had happened to the President, the same people who would criticize this post would be lapping that up with unrestrained glee…
Heh, they are going after Rubio, for one of his relatives, 25 year old tie to Operation Swordfish, something that happened when Marco was in high school.
