I awoke to find the following in my mailbox from CNN:
Britain’s Prince William marries Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, giving her a ring of Welsh gold.
Since we have all been told over and over and over about this wedding,somehow this doesn’t strike me as breaking news.
Now, had they skipped the big ceremony and headed to Vegas to get married by an Elvis impersonator, that would have been news.

Pretty much my reaction. Although I did find the part about the “ring of Welsh gold” mildly amusing.
Well, since Will will become “Prince of Wales” should Charles assume the throne, it’s appropriate, I guess…
But yeah, pretty useless announcement.
