While the Dogo Argentino certainly looks fearsome, properly raised they are an amazing breed. They possess strength and courage of mythical proportions and are unmatched in their intended purpose, hunting boar. They are certainly very dangerous to pigs, but they are also very loyal and gentle as companions and guards for the home. My five year old Dogo, Max, can be seen here…

I have yet to meet a Dogo, but from what I’ve seen and read they look like wonderful dogs. And the same goes for Max. Thanks for the pictures.
