NUCLEAR NIGHTMARE: A story on ABCNews.com postulates a “nightmare scenario” where Iraq launches a chemical or biological attack on Israel to provoke a nuclear response. While certainly nightmarish, the scenario strikes me as wildly implausible. Indeed, the same thing was postulated in 1991 and nothing happened.
