I love this song, which (aside from Leonard Cohen and Stephen Sondheim) I can say about maybe three songs written in the last fifty years. I wouldn’t mind if we made it the National Anthem–it seems essentially American to me, a song of the open road. The video I hadn’t seen, and it’s a bit disappointing, since I think find the music so visually and narratively suggestive, but thanks for posting it–first time I’ve clicked on this on OTB.
