I saw Pickett at a private party at the Kilimanjaro Club in ’89. Great stuff.

There was an interesting article about Pickett a few years ago in the WaPo (before he passed away). He had settled in a suburban development near Dulles Airport in Loudoun County, VA. He kept to himself but was friendly with the neighbors. This was something that I didn’t expect from “wicked” Wilson Pickett.
