Not only is that a rather thin report, it’s more than four weeks old. Laura Rozen was reporting this on April 1st; apparently, it wasn’t a prank.

    Not sure why Patraeus would do that. Seems like a bit of a Latetal move, at best. DNI might make more sense.

    @Matt: I don’t know why he’d want it, either. But I’d rather have CIA than DNI; the latter is a fool’s errand without budget control.
