Well, I know my posting volume falls off on Sunday’s during the season…

Give me a break. The only book Rice actually published as a single author was her dissertation. She is second author on the book with Zelikow about German Unification. Her only other “books” are edited volumes where she contributed one chapter.

Her output is pretty paltry–To see her blaming it on football is pathetic.

It was rather obviously a joke.

In political science, referred journal articles, not books, tend to be the chief metric of scholarly output. I haven’t been able to find a publications list for her in a few minutes of Googling around.

Still, I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if her list was indeed “paltry.” She has spent quite a few years away from the academy doing government service and also moved into the administrative track, reaching Provost far faster than is typical.

  4. Uh yeah. That’s my excuse also. And I would have cured cancer if it wasn’t for March madness. Curse you final four.

Who knows, she might even have done her job as NSA.

Perhaps D’Souza will write a book about the NFL’s culpability for 9/11.
