Rasmussen: Thune 50%, Daschle 47%

Jon Lauck passes on word that Jim Thune, who was narrowly defeated in his 2002 bid to unseat Tim Johnson, is currently running ahead of Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle in the latest Rasmussen poll. While it’s within the margin of error, the fact that Bush is up 58-40 over Kerry in the state and that Thune’s favorables are 65 to Daschel’s 52 would make it appear to be more than a toss-up.
