Sarah Palin’s Farewell Addresss — Shatnerized
I have to say, Sarah Palin’s farewell address as governor makes a little more sense when William Shatner reads it:
Also, speaking of William Shatner, there are a couple of things that are worth mentioning about him. First off, is there anybody who’s as good a sport about himself as he is? I know reports from his colleagues in his younger days paint a picture of a jerkwad egomaniac, but I don’t see any of that now. Second, can you believe that the man’s SEVENTY-EIGHT? He’s got the energy of a twenty-five year old!

UPDATE (James Joyner): NBC ordered YouTube to pull the video, so I replaced it with a Hulu version.
Adam West. But that does not detract from the fact that Shatner is awesome.
I’ll have whatever he’s eating.
Seventy-Eight?! My god, I had him pegged in his early sixties (and he must be doing some good skin and hair care, since he looks younger than that). I guess it makes sense, though, since he was doing original Star Trek back in the late 1960s.
I’ll beat Triumph to the punch and note that Shatner is a Canuck. How dare these for’ners defame our future leader?
Goddamit DC…beat me to it (well, the Canuck part–was trying to think of something witty to say about health care).
The man pictured above was born in Riverside, Iowa on March 22, 2228. I’ve been to Riverside and seen this with my own eyes. Once Obama has so degenerated the American institutions that protect us from Canadians and time-travelers, he will be President. He must be.
Heh, PD. Pretty good.
There is a huge difference between Shatner and Palin. Shatner is fun. Palin is, wow,,, where to start?
